The Cops

Analysis of Stedicam/ Handheld

THE COPS
The type of camera shot that is used, is affective as it makes the audience feel more in the action as it makes it look more realistic.
However sometimes it can become too much for the eyes to take, especially when it's close up shots, you almost want to take a step back.

StediCam/Hand-held camera- is a filmmaking and video production technique in which a camera is held in the camera operator's hands as opposed to being mounted on a tripod or other base. Hand-held cameras are used because they are conveniently sized for travel and because they allow greater freedom of motion during filming.
